A large-scale drug awareness effort in Italy has surpassed one million educational anti-drug booklets distributed in recent weeks. The initiative forms part of the drug awareness programme known as “The Truth About Drugs”, which aims to provide factual education about commonly abused substances and their risks to young people and communities.
Approximately 500 volunteers are participating in the outreach effort, distributing materials in cities, neighbourhoods and local businesses. The campaign focuses on helping young people make informed decisions, providing resources designed to explain news eu wahl the dangers of drugs in a understandable way.
The campaign is connected to broader humanitarian initiatives supported by the Church of Scientology, inspired by the work of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
